Cloud time tracking
No server. No VPN.
The terminal opens the connection outbound itself; no inbound port is left open on your firewall. A power line and an ethernet socket are enough at the mounting point.
Connected · no port openedIn short
easyPDKS runs in the cloud: the management panel opens in a browser and the terminal connects outbound to it. There is no server to buy, license, back up or maintain, and no static IP, port forwarding or VPN is required. Each company receives its own panel, its own address and a separate database.
- At the site
- A power line and an ethernet socket; one cable with PoE
- On the firewall
- No inbound port opened
- Per company
- Its own panel, its own address, a separate database
- Device identity
- Each terminal carries its own secret key
Infrastructure
No server.No static IP.No port forwarding.No VPN.
The terminal opens the connection outbound itself; no inbound port is left open on your firewall. A power line and an ethernet socket at the mounting point are enough — a single cable if you have a PoE switch. There is no server to buy, license, back up or maintain; updates arrive centrally.
What on-premise costs
The server was the easy part. Keeping it was not.
- Nothing to buy
Buying and licensing
The hardware is only the beginning; licences and renewals follow.
- Handled centrally
Backups and maintenance
Somebody has to own it, and usually nobody does.
- Connection goes outbound
Static IP and VPN
IT has to open and then defend a route in from outside.
- Arrive centrally
Updates
Version upgrades get postponed until something breaks.
The connection goes out, not in.
Because the terminal opens the session itself, your firewall keeps no inbound door open. That is a simpler conversation with IT than a VPN.
What is separated
Your data, your panel.
- PanelA separate address for each company
- DatabaseSeparate per company, not shared
- PermissionsRole-based users and session management
- Device keyA secret key unique to each terminal
- Processed dataOnly the card or QR identifier and the timestamp
Other features
From the terminal to payroll.
Frequently asked questions
Infrastructure questions.
If your question is not here, write to us directly — we usually reply within one business hour.
Ask on WhatsAppDo I need a server, a static IP or a VPN?
No. The terminal opens the connection outbound itself, so no inbound port is left open on the firewall. A power line and an ethernet socket at the mounting point are enough.
Which port does IT need to open?
None. Because the session is established from the inside out, no inbound port is required.
Is our data stored alongside other companies?
Each company gets its own panel, its own address and a separate database. The panel has role-based user permissions and session management.
Could a fake device submit records?
Each terminal has its own secret key; a record whose identity does not match is rejected.
What data is processed?
Only the card or QR identifier and the timestamp. Verification happens through NFC and QR.
